Our website may be used without entering personal information. Different rules may apply to certain services on our site, however, and are explained separately below. During the booking process, we use a SSL encryption to make it almost impossible for third parties to read the information, which are communicated through the internet.  

Personal data

  1. For the realization of our services, the technical administration, own promotional purposes and to guarantee the correspondence between you and us, we collect personal data during the registration (user registration and “Become a coach” registration) and booking process. These include in particular: First and last name, contact details, payment details, e-mail address, and other accounts (e.g. in case of using Facebook for login/registration). It is basically possible to share these data with other several companies, if it is needed to handle our contractual relationship. Especially, in the following cases:
    1. A transmission of personal data happens always for the purposes of service fulfillment to the booked service provider (coach). The transmission only includes the data, which is needed to fulfil the booked service (coaching lesson).
    2. If payment service providers (e.g. PayPal) are used for the payment process, your data will be shared with the concerned payment intermediary. The same applies to the credit institutes, which are instructed with the payment.

    The service providers (coaches) are allowed to use the shared data exclusively for the purposes of the booked service (coaching).
  2. Furthermore, we will not pass your personal data to any other third party, unless we are legally bound to do it or you gave us a consent for it.
  3. The personal data, communicated to us during the registration process will be stored up to 10 years by our company, due to commerce and tax law reasons.
  4. Without a consent of the customer, the Quackstage UG (haftungsbeschränkt) will not use the customer’s personal data for marketing or commercial reasons or for market and opinion research.

Server Data
For technical reasons, data which your internet browser transmits to us or to our web space provider (so called server log files), is collected: - type and version of the browser you use - operating system - websites that linked you to our site (referrer URL) - websites that you visit - date and time of your visit - your Internet Protocol (IP) address. This anonymous data is stored separately from any personal information you may have provided, thereby making it impossible to connect it to any particular person. The data is used for statistical purposes in order to improve our website and services. In order to facilitate our work we use Google Analytics (cf. Use of Google Analytics with anonymized IP ).

On our website we offer you the opportunity to contact us, either by email and/or by using a contact form. In such event, information provided by the user is stored for the purpose of facilitating communications with the user. No data is transferred to third parties. Nor is any of this information matched to any information that may be collected by other components of our website.

Posting Comments
On our website we offer you the opportunity to post comments about individual articles (rating of coaches, news entries, etc). For this purpose, the IP address of the user/internet connection is stored. This information is stored for our security in the event the author infringes through his/her comments against third party rights and/or unlawful content is entered. Consequently, we have a direct interest in the author’s stored data, particularly since we may be potentially liable for such violations. No data is transferred to third parties. Nor is any of this information matched to any information that may be collected by other components of our website.
